Pokemon Unchosen Game – Tactical RPG & Download Guide

Pokémon Unchosen is Aldrine’s unofficial fan RPG, built with RPG Maker MV and the LeTBS tactical battle system. Its influences include Dofus and Final Fantasy Tactics. The defining change is team-based battlefield movement: positioning and ability spending happen within turn-based encounters, with movement points and action points doing different jobs. The roster starts with Generation 1 Pokémon and their evolutions, then adds a selected group from later generations, including Lucario and the Generation 2 starters. That is a curated roster, not a promise that every Pokémon from every generation is present. Mega Evolutions, collectible Chroma Charms and custom Shiny variants give party collecting another layer alongside tactical fights. The adventure also includes crafting, crop cultivation, minigames and opening card boosters. Same-screen local co-op applies both while exploring and while fighting, allowing a friend to control one party member. English and French downloads are available from the developer. The project is still marked as in development, so use the current installation notes and release files from Aldrine when starting or updating.

Open the official download button above to reach Aldrine’s itch.io releases. On Windows, download the launcher, extract its folder, run the launcher, select English or French and let it download the game. Keep the extracted files together. For Android, follow the separate JoiPlay instructions: install JoiPlay and the RPG Maker plugin, extract the chosen language ZIP, then add Game.exe from that folder. This is a download-and-run RPG rather than an instant browser game. Start by exploring with your party, then use the first tactical encounter to understand the two resources. Movement points let you reposition Pokémon across the battlefield; action points pay for their abilities. Decide which teammate should move, where it should stand and which ability is worth using from that position. Moving the whole team makes formation part of a turn instead of reducing every fight to one active Pokémon choosing a move. Think about the team before committing to a sequence. A different position can change the way you approach the next ability, while spending action points determines what you do during the turn. Read the in-game information as you learn: damage calculations and EV mechanics have been reworked for the tactical system, so a familiar main-series routine may not transfer directly. For a shared session, local co-op lets a second player take over one Pokémon during exploration and battles. Coordinate that teammate’s movement with the rest of the party. Away from combat, try crafting, growing plants, minigames or card packs, and look out for Chroma Charms if collecting alternate Shiny forms interests you.
