Word Duet turns a shared theme into six paired-phrase searches on a letter board. Find either word first, then use the marked gap to locate its companion; each tile belongs to one answer. New puzzles arrive every Monday and Friday, and past boards remain available in the archive.
How to Play Word Duet: Find the Paired Phrases
Controls
Each answer is a two-word phrase, with at least two letters in each word. Trace a word through neighboring tiles, including diagonals; either half can come first, and a correct word fills its answer slot. After finding one half, follow the ring to its partner: the second word starts beyond one skipped tile in any of eight directions. Standard play lets you solve the words separately; Hard Mode asks you to trace both in one go. Choose an answer slot to reveal a phrase clue, outline the first word, and then reveal the answer if needed.

How many phrases are in a Word Duet puzzle?
The current board shows six answer slots. Each answer is a pair of words, and the official instructions require each word to contain at least two letters.
How do I select a word on the letter board?
Drag through neighboring tiles and release, or tap the letters in sequence and choose Submit. Diagonal neighbors count as adjacent for a valid path.
Do I have to find the first word before its partner?
No. Either word can be found first. Once one half is solved, follow its ring to the paired start after a skipped tile.
What changes in Hard Mode?
Hard Mode asks you to trace both words in one go. Standard play lets you find the two halves separately and complete either half first.
What can I do if a phrase is difficult?
Select its answer slot to reveal help in stages: a phrase clue, an outline for the first word, and finally the answer itself.
When are new puzzles added?
The site says new puzzles arrive every Monday and Friday. Use the past-puzzles archive to revisit an earlier board between releases.
