How to Play the Numberblocks Sandbox
Controls
Open the browser version and choose a block to begin a custom Numberblocks build. Switch between blocks as you work, then move around the grid to place and inspect the design. The canvas is a creative construction space, so you can experiment with different tile shapes instead of following a fixed level path. Use the toolbar to pick tiles, search for a tile, adjust zoom, center the camera, or toggle the grid and dark mode. Select the eraser to remove one tile; a separate toolbar action clears all tiles. Save and Load let you return to a build later, while the music and rainbow-effect controls can be changed independently.

How do you build a Numberblock in the sandbox?
Choose a block and use the tile picker to shape a custom build on the board. Search and selection tools help you find tiles, while camera centering and zoom make it easier to work across a larger construction.
How do you switch between blocks?
Press the Left or Right Arrow key to move between blocks. The block switch is separate from moving the view, so use WASD or the mouse tool when you want to pan around the construction board.
How can you move around the building board?
Use W, A, S, or D to move the screen view, or equip the mouse tool and drag the canvas. When no mouse, eraser, or picker tool is selected, hovering near a screen edge can also pan the view.
How do you erase a tile or clear the whole board?
Select the eraser and click an individual tile to remove it. The toolbar also has a separate action for deleting all tiles, so check the selected command before clearing a larger Numberblocks build.
Can you save and load a Numberblocks build?
Yes. The toolbar includes Save and Load actions for returning to a construction later. The same toolbar also contains camera, zoom, grid, music, and tile-selection tools for managing a session.
