Two-Minute Drill is an independent fan-made football game about calling plays in the closing moments of real NFL games. Each daily drive shows a real score, clock, timeout count, down and distance, and 22 actual players. You get 27 calls across Run, Pass, RPO, and Trick. The game is not affiliated with the NFL, its teams, players, or NFLPA.
The scenario library covers 740 situations, including two-minute drills, protecting a lead, ties, and end-of-half possessions. Player ratings run from 40 to 99 and are based on real production. Play outcomes draw from 160,141 real NFL plays in the 2022–2026 dataset.
Decision grades focus on the call, not the outcome. The game compares the estimated win chance of your choice with the best available option and places the decision in a color band. It benchmarks against 6,000 simulated coaches, and its win-probability model is an estimate.
Daily gives you one featured drive; Survivor chains random fourth quarters together. A separate Pro historical archive is available as a one-time purchase. You can adjust receiver routes, targets, tempo, and clock calls before a play, then use the next situation to refine your approach.
How to Play the NFL Two Minute Drill Game
Controls
Click Play Now above, then choose Play Today’s Drive inside the game. Check the score, quarter, clock, down, distance, and timeouts before you call a play.
Pick Run, Pass, RPO, or Trick. On a pass, tap a receiver to adjust the route, choose the target, and select Snap. Watch the clock before choosing tempo, calling a timeout, spiking, kneeling, or attempting a field goal. When your team is on defense, you can also select a defensive call.
Your grade compares the estimated win chance of your call with the best available option for that situation. A good result can still come from a poor decision, and a failed play can still be the stronger call. Treat the grade as a strategy estimate, not an official NFL rating.
Start with Daily for one featured drive. Try Survivor for consecutive random fourth quarters; the Pro archive is a separate paid mode for historical drives.
