DEADLINE: Afterlife Processing is a darkly comic management simulation about reviewing the lives of the dead. Each case arrives as a set of fragments, and you work through them at a desk in a facility built to sort souls. In the DEADLINE Afterlife Processing game, the core activity is judging case files and managing a processing line.
The decision is shaped by the directive posted for the current shift. Rules can change, so read the instruction before you seal a verdict. Once you choose, the soul moves to Disposition A or B. The Steam screenshots show glowing orb-like souls, the record terminal, a queue and the two colored destinations.
Verdicts also feed back into the workplace. Earned slips or money can go toward boots, the press and automation, giving later shifts more facility options. Steam currently lists a playable demo, Windows 10 64-bit support, single-player and full controller support; the planned full release window is Q1 2027. The store content note mentions text-only death, crime and guilt, and says visual gore and sexual content are absent.

How to Play
Controls
Click Play Demo on Steam above to open the DEADLINE: Afterlife Processing store page. The available build is a Windows demo; the full release is planned for Q1 2027. Install the demo through Steam to start playing.
When a case arrives, review the fragments of the person’s life and read the current shift directive before deciding. Directives can change the rules for a shift, so treat them as part of the case rather than a permanent policy.
Choose a verdict, seal it, and route the soul to Disposition A or B. Your decisions move the processing line forward and earn slips or money for facility upgrades. Use the mouse to inspect the interface and select options. Steam lists full controller support, but the store page does not publish a button-by-button mapping.
