Far Flung Geography Game – Daily World Map Trivia

Farflung is a daily geography trivia game built around a world map. It gives you five prompts each day and one country pin for each. The challenge is to recognize which country fits the clue before the 60-second clock runs out.

Rarer accepted answers travel farther in the score. The help panel’s example ranges from 40 km for a Common answer to 100 km for a Farflung answer, with Uncommon, Rare, and Elusive between them. That makes answer rarity part of the puzzle alongside geography.

Drag or use the arrow keys to pan the map, and scroll, pinch, or press plus/minus to zoom. Click a country and confirm the pin with Space or Enter. Practice gives one untimed prompt and does not save the result, so it is a low-pressure way to learn the map controls.

Select Open Farflung and Start the Daily Expedition above, then choose Play Daily Expedition on the Farflung site. Each day gives you five prompts, and you place one country pin for each prompt.

Read the prompt, pan or zoom the world map, click the country you think fits, then press Space or Enter to drop the pin. Every prompt has a 60-second timer and allows one try, so scan the map before you commit.

Your score is based on how rare the accepted country is, not on physical distance from another location. The help example gives more travel distance to rarer answers. Practice mode gives you one prompt without a timer, and that round does not save a result.
