Dummy War Game – Explore the DummyWar Military Sandbox

Dummy War game, also called DummyWar, is an experimental military sandbox by GuFugu published on itch.io. It lets players arrange opposing soldiers, watch the simulation play out or take direct control. The developer describes a focus on AI behavior, active ragdoll physics and dynamic combat.

Soldiers react physically to hits and their surroundings, seek cover and engage opponents. The game includes blood, injuries and violent combat imagery. The 0.0.3 Dead Ground update added a 360 × 360 meter map with trenches, craters, obstacles and a village, along with vehicles, FPV drones, commander orders and a new medical system.

The 0.0.4 update added a bomber drone class, an anti-drone shotgun class and new grenades. DummyWar is still an early alpha, so mechanics and performance may change. Check the itch.io listing for the current download and system details before installing.

Click the button above to open GuFugu’s itch.io page and download the current alpha. After launching the build, you can set up soldiers from opposing teams and watch their AI fight, or take control of one soldier to join the battle.

Try different positions and orders, then watch how cover, injuries and active ragdoll reactions change an encounter. The 0.0.3 update describes an order wheel, medical actions and a resupply system; available options may change as the prototype develops.

The Dead Ground map adds trenches, craters, obstacles and a village. Vehicles and FPV drone operators create different ways to approach a fight, while medics can treat wounded soldiers and wounded soldiers can be dragged to cover.
